The Woman Behind The Lens, Abby.

Behind the camera since 1984.

Hello,

I’m Abby. A proud, grateful and exhausted Momma to three children; they are my life laughter and everything lovely. I swear just yesterday, I was changing their diapers, yet here we are. What I would give to dive back into an old photo of my family and soak up that baby goodness. And how thankful I am to have tangible proof of moments to return to time after time!

PHOTOGRAPHY HAS WIDENED MY LENS AND HELPS ME FOCUS ON THE BEAUTY OF THE EVERYDAY MOMENTS.

I am always honored to be welcomed into your home or to spend the morning or early evening together, capturing your story. I want my images to catch the messy imperfections of your family. The simple glances, giggles and quirks that make your family special, unique and beautifully yours. I hope to reveal and preserve what is so hard to put into words, in snapshot form so that when you look back on these photos, the memories come flooding back.

PHOTOS CAN INVOKE SUCH A STRONG FEELING AND CAN TRANSPORT YOU BACK TO AN EXACT MOMENT IN TIME.

Before you know it, your kids will also be taller than you (like my oldest is) and you can return to your photos from our session to remember when they could all fit into your arms. Come as you are, how you are, where you are.

IF THIS RESONATES WITH YOU, THEN LET’S FREEZE TIME AND CREATE STILL FRAMES FROM MOMENTS IN OUR LIVES THAT ARE SO FLEETING.

Let’s go!

My heart.

Some favorite photos of my children. Reason 1 million why I am so grateful for photography. I remember how they were when they were this age and can hear their little voices now. Directly below is my middle one who used to always have a little toy in his hand, or as you can see, a shirt full of “crystals” from our excursions. The one who made me a Mama and who is currently taller than me is in the lower right hand corner. And this sweet little cherub here, is my girl, an actual earth Angel.

oh hey!
